Galaxy S5 Power Reset or Unknown Upload Mode

I have an international GT I9000 galaxy s and i accept the stuck at kicking screen problem im trying to get into download mode to flash with odin, Just when i do the vol down+dwelling house+power i get to this screen with the green android logo maxim Power RESET or UNKNOWN UPLOAD Style and in ruddy it says
RST_STAT = 0x1
PMIC_IRQ1 = 0x3c
PMIC_IRQ2 = 0x0
PMIC_IRQ3 = 0x0
PMIC_IRQ4 = 0x0
PMIC_STATUS1 = 0xc0
PMIC_STATUS2 = 0x2c

Any mode to fix this?

howdy dude, i have but passed this trouble , i was so confused similar you at first but you lot won't notice any solution except the JTAG method.... just search for it

How about yous contribute with a link to where y'all found your solution? Unless this was a super common and well known fix, "just search for it" isn't helping.

I've got the exact same thing!

Yesterday my phone just wouldn't kick...
Later on leaving information technology for a few hours, I continued it to usb and the phone booted into Android, then rebooted. Eventually I couldn't admission annihilation and it was stuck in a bootloop. I could only get into Download Manner, no Recovery Mode, and flashing a new rom (Darky'due south Resurrection Edition) didn't help either.

This morning time I go the Power RESET or UNKNOWN UPLOAD MODE bulletin. The terminal thing I did yesterday was flash to I9000XXJP2 stock.

A fix would actually be overnice!

This does work to get download mode dorsum

100% success using a breadboard, micro usb from an one-time car charger
2x 150k 1x1k
I MacGuyvered the 4&5th pins without solder then it was unstable and didn't work at first.
Merely Download mode is on the screen.
Now all i take to do is await for the return of the windows machine to to odin information technology back.

fourth dimension to read up on that now.

No power button

I may be very late but try this,

one. Run Odin 1.8x
two. Take out bombardment
3. Put bombardment back
four. press both volumes buttons
five. Plug in microusb

Don't press the power button at all

one. Download Odin 1.8x and execute it (run it/double click it)
2. Open your phone and take out the battery
3. Install the same battery back the aforementioned way you lot took information technology out
4. Press both volume buttons (that ways up and down and proceed it pressed)
v. Plug in your charger line to your phone. The USB side goes direct to your computer.

I don't know how more specific I tin can get. Good luck

Hey Guys. I also had the same trouble but without all the RST_STAT = 0x1 bull crap. Afterward replacing the motherboard, (not telling yous to supervene upon your motherboard) I couldn't get into recovery mode, rather it would always go into the Power RESET or UNKNOWN UPLOAD MODE. The uncomplicated trick for me that worked was just tapping the power push button while property the volume down and home button. May piece of work for you, just don't concord the ability button down, otherwise it will get into the Power RESET or UNKNOWN UPLOAD Style.

Same Problem : SOLVED!!!

I encountered the same problem. What i did :
1. Uninstall Facebook
ii. Uninstall Instagram
3. Re-download those apps and install
4. Walla!

Hey Guys. I also had the aforementioned problem but without all the RST_STAT = 0x1 bull crap. The uncomplicated trick for me that worked was just borer the power button while belongings the volume downwards and home push button. May work for you, but don't hold the ability button downwardly, otherwise it will go into the Ability RESET or UNKNOWN UPLOAD MODE.

This did it perfect for me I was getting annoyed i couldn't difficult reset into anything but Watchdog screen held book down and home tapped ability button 3 times and information technology booted normal February 18th 2017 cheers for the help bro

I was presented with Upload Mode when my phone froze and I had to restart.

I only pressed the book downwardly and power button until the Samsung logo appeared. Then released and it booted correct up.

Promise this helps in some sort of mode

This morning I get the Ability RESET or UNKNOWN UPLOAD Mode message. The last affair I did yesterday was flash to I9000XXJP2 stock.

A set up would really be nice!

My S3 Neo+ did the same subsequently a stock install leave it for similar 5mins then reboot. Or if you can boot into download mode, and then reflash the recovery using odin. then exercise the rom installation stuff.

In theory, upload way is supposed to be the doorstep of S-B00T terminal. Which is the base of the bootloader inclduing download mode.
